Ducati announced its new Multistrada V4 lineup this month. For 2022, the versatile motorcycle will come in standard, S and S Sport variants.
Common throughout the lineup is the new Granturismo engine, a V4 that produces 170 horsepower. All new Multistrada bikes also receive Ducati’s navigation and rider assistance radar systems. They are designed to go 60k—about 37,000 miles—before needing main service, and about two years on an oil change.
Among the lineup, the mid-range S variant looks most appealing to most riders who expect to find themselves adventuring more frequently on either pavement or dirt; custom features include spoked or cast wheels, with usage-specific tires also available. Its customizable suspension system lowers itself automatically and allows riders to retain control when stopping, an especially useful feature in city environs.
