Actor, comedian and writer Marlon Wayans took time out this winter from post-production on Boo! — a Netflix comedy-horror film he both stars in and produces — to spend $5.3 million on a home in Encino. Wayans selected a brand new 5,005 sq. ft. build with five bedrooms and six baths for his new investment.

The home features modern farmhouse architecture. Its exterior is perhaps a touch heavier on the industrial design inspiration than other notable examples we’ve run across lately; its garage looks very much like a factory or warehouse bay.
