Prolific television producer Greg Berlanti picked up a South Pacific getaway last winter. The 4,204 sq. ft. home is located on the Big Island of Hawaii. Berlanti closed on it for $8.1 million, according to Dirt.

There are five bedrooms and seven baths on the little estate, including the accommodations in the guest house. Details include hand-scraped hardwood floors, pocketing glass walls that combine the indoor living room with the covered outdoor space, a spa, and a pool and sundeck with ocean views.

The Pacific Islands atmosphere of the architecture and interior design culminates in the bedrooms, where soothing beige tones and dark-finished hardwood are enhanced by tropical ceiling fans. A BBQ cooking pit, wet bar, and tropical garden landscaping put the finishing touches on the restorative retreat.

If you watched television recently, chances are you came across Berlanti’s work. His current shows include Riverdale, All American, Doom Patrol, Batwoman, The Flash, Legends of Tomorrow, You, Titans, Superman & Lois, Stargirl, The Flight Attendant, Kung Fu, and All American: Homecoming. His upcoming projects include Green Lantern, Powerpuff, The Girls on the Bus, and DC’s Strange Adventures. On the film side, he’s working on Moonshot, with Cole Sprouse and Zach Braff, and My Policeman, with Harry Styles and Emma Corrin.
