Ducati’s newest reveal is perhaps the most muscular-looking luxury road bike to come down the pike this year. The company calls the model the XDiavel Nera, and it caps the XDiavel lineup as an expression of power, technological know-how, and fashion flash.

The XDiavel Nera is outfitted with the same 1,262cc Testastretta V-twin engine as the other XDiavel bikes. In this case, it is tuned to produce 160 horsepower and 93.7 pound-feet of torque. Rider control and information is provided by a 3.5-inch TFT screen.

The Nera rides on forged aluminum wheels and comes with Pirelli Diablo Rosso III tires; brakes include four-piston Brembo calipers in front. Safety features of the XDiavel Nera include cornering ABS.

But the real story of this particular XDiavel is the black-and-red color scheme. The livery is capped by a seat, for which Ducati enlisted the help of esteemed Italian leather furntiture firm Poltrona Frau.

The Nera will be produced in a numbered series of 500 examples. Pricing starts at $29,795.
