Trevor Noah Offering Bel Air Home for Breakeven $27.5M

In the past few years, quick-witted television personality Trevor Noah has purchased two aggressively modern homes in Bel Air. The host of ‘The Daily Show’ closed on the first on the cusp of the 2018-2019 transition; for Noah, the 10,000 sq. ft. house came in at $20.5 million, and went out a little less than two years later at $21.7 million.

The second strident-lined Bel Air villa purchased by Noah entered the picture about a year ago. Its closing required a bit more in the way of outlay; Noah surrendered $27.5 million to call it his own. The time has come to list that property, too, but Noah is looking for perhaps a faster exit this time around — the .98-acre estate hit the market back in the fall asking $29.8 million before being reduced to $27.5 million—the purchase price to the penny.

The house contains six bedrooms and eleven baths across its 11,375 sq. ft. Its exterior architecture gives the impression of stacked sections; a staggered roofline and a monolithic, lighted accent wall at entry also contribute to a first impression. Inside the home, architectural concrete, hardwood, glass and steel emerge as prominent materials. The greens of the sylvan setting frequently carry through to help express the interior living style.

An elegant house to be sure, and not without creature comforts. The list includes a sauna, a screening room, a gym, an office, and a larger master, one of five suites in the home. Outside, a zero-edge pool, outdoor kitchen, and security booth are featured.

Noah’s in the middle of his Back to Abnormal World Tour. He’ll also be hosting the Grammys this year, as well as the White House Correspondents’ Dinner.
