Rachel Leigh Cook listed a period Tudor-style Los Angeles residence for sale this winter. The actor has hung a price tag of $4.25 million on the 4,812 sq. ft. home, which sits on a .39-acre lot in Studio City.
The stucco house was completed in 1923. Its exterior architecture has a Storybook feel which carries through to the landscaping; the large lawn in back is surrounded by greenery — oaks, pines, and eucalyptus among the elder flora — and transitions to a sunken outdoor living and dining area with a bar and a stone fireplace; as the grounds progress, they eventually break into a secluded path of boardwalk and stone steps that meander through a thoroughly escapist garden.
The home’s interiors are as leisurely, and though updated retain their history. The master suite is something special; it features a bedroom with a window seat and a vaulted ceiling, and a walk-in closet that’s designed around one of the storybook gables.
