Jeffrey Epstein’s New Mexico estate popped up on the open market early last summer priced at $27.5 million. It’s still trying to find a new owner as of this winter, and the sellers are holding fast to their asking price.
The property is located in the greater Santa Fe area. It represents a unique opportunity, as it could very likely be purposed as a commercial enterprise; there are multiple structures on the estate, which spans 7,588 acres.
The main house is a 33,339 sq. ft. hacienda, a behemoth with abundant outdoor living areas that include a large loggia with a fireplace. Among the amenities inside this primary residence is a library with floor-to-ceiling bookshelves, a picture window, and ceilings that measure around 15 feet.
There are additional residences on the property, however—four in all, including a lodge and a log cabin. Additionally, a greenhouse, equestrian accommodations, a fire house with a resident fire truck, a caretaker’s cottage and a yurt all pop up on a tour of the grounds. Recreational amenities include a tennis court.
The property has been known as Zorro Ranch; it was given the title by its former owner, Epstein. What its new name will be is, like its new purpose, entirely up to its new owner.
