Forging yet another link between its MC20 supercar and the mere mortal flash of its daily driving trio, Maserati recently revealed MC Edition variants of its bread-and-butter models; the moniker of course references Maserati Corse, the brand’s racing division. The Ghibli, Levante and Quattroporte are all eligible for the treatment, which brings special visuals to bear on the showroom standards, and gives them a more potent engine.

The competition-inspired details evoke the history of the marque as a track force and a source of national pride. MC Edition cars can be ordered with an exterior in Corse yellow or Vittoria blue, both of which have historical resonance for Maserati: they are the colors of Modena. Exterior trim is in piano black trim and interior trim is in carbon fiber.

MC Edition badging is plentiful throughout, of course. Best of all, though, the models come with a 3.8L V8 that can deliver at least 523 horsepower and 538 pound-feet of torque.
