After about two years on and off the open market, the Manhattan condo of lawyer and Minnesota Vikings co-owner David Mandelbaum has gone to a new owner.

Public records indicate the property was initially listed by Mandelbaum in February of 2020; at that time, the three-bedroom, four-bath property asked $25.75 million. The listing price had dropped to $19.75 million by September of this year, and closed in early December at that figure, according to Dirt.

The unit is located in the Tower section of the 15 Central Park West, a building in Lincoln Square designed by Robert A.M. Stern that was completed in 2007; because of the number of power brokers retaining residences at the address, the building has acquired the nickname ‘Limestone Jesus’. It’s not intended to be ironic.

The unit in question spans 2,761 sq. ft. It is one of 202 in the building, and features Venetian plaster, gold and silver leaf accents, glossy Macassar paneling, pocket doors, and ceiling heights of over 13 feet; ceiling details include milled relief and scalloping. The kitchen is outfitted with a four-seat banquette. The apartment’s accommodations include a master with pleated silk wall covering.
