In late 2018, Victoria’s Secret alum Adriana Lima sold her pied-a-terre in the Met Tower for $3.3 million. The sale price was a far cry from her sanguine $5.5 million ask, but registered as a not-bad return on her $2 million investment.
This winter, Lima passed her main residence — a lavish estate in South Florida’s so-called ‘Billionaire’s Bunker’ — and fared somewhat better. She purchased the 1.84-acre spot for $9 million in 2009, and let it go for $40 million, according to The Real Deal.
The 1958-built home spans 6,465 sq. ft. It contains four bedrooms and at least four baths, and begins with an elevated semi-courtyard entrance; details gleaned from a gander at the available interior images include parquet floors and crystal chandeliers, although renovations conducted by Lima may have altered them. In the rear of the property, a broad lawn that slopes to the water’s edge.
The Miami Beach island community has lured many celebrity buyers over the years. In December of 2020, retired NFL star Tom Brady and his wife, model Gisele Bundchen, paid $17 million for an estate on the island. Jared Kushner and Ivanka Trump also bought into the lifestyle around the same time, doling out $31.8 million for a lot before securing a second property a few months later for $24 million.
