Christian Yelich has owned a Malibu beachfront since the summer of 2018, when he tossed down $5.6 million for it. The 2,500 sq. ft. house was back on the market a little over two years later with a $6.3 million ask. It sold this winter, with the closing coming in at $200K over ask. In the meantime, Yelich picked up a new spread in Paradise Valley for $6.5 million.
The Malibu house packs in a few extraordinary amenities for a home of this size, including an elevator and a wet bar. The main living space is a gem; managing to conjure a lifestyle that is both cozy and slick, it features pale plank hardwood, an alcove kitchen, a gas fireplace, a staircase with modern-style balustrade, and sliding glass that opens to the terrace overlooking the beach.
The master suite features a fireplace, and carries off the beach cottage feel very well. The blue ribbon goes to the rooftop deck, however; it boasts a spa as a centerpiece, and vertigo-inducing views.
