Taiwanese computer-and-phone outfit ASUS unveiled the first foldable laptop this winter, making a space-efficient larger screen a reality. The model, called the Zenbook 17 Fold, features a 12.5-inch screen that can be unfolded into a 17.3-inch, 2560 x 1920, 4:3 display.

While the laptop’s expandable screen design gets top billing among the Zenbook Fold’s features, the new model is also the current overall flagship laptop for the company. ASUS packed in a low blue light-level NanoEdge Dolby Vision screen, a detachable ErgoSense Bluetooth-enabled keyboard and touchpad, and Harmon Kardon Dolby Atmos sound.

The Zenbook 17 Fold is also one pretty piece of tech. The magnesium alloy chassis is 8.7mm thin when not folded, and features a color scheme of green against matte black and the tactile appeal of faux leather.

The Zenbook 17 Fold is powered by a 12th-generation Intel Core CUP, and its comes loaded with a 5 MP webcam and an HD IR camera. It also boasts a high-capacity batter and Thunderbolt 4 USB ports.

The ASUS Zenbook 17 Fold is expected in stores this spring. Price TBA.
