NBA player Jordan Clarkson sold his Sherman Oaks retreat in the final days of 2021. The Utah Jazz team member fared well enough on the deal; he took ownership of the home toward the end of 2020 for $5.8 million, listed it in November of last year with a $7.499 million ask, and sold it for that figure, with one dollar besides, before the year was out.
The 2019-built modern farmhouse contains six bedrooms and eight baths in its 8,000 sq. ft. of interiors. Its design is unusually effective — the industrial-inspired architecture is dressed in white and capped with a metal roof, while inside heavy use of natural-toned hardwood and rustic details dress up an otherwise uncluttered interior style.
Although there’s a bit more rusticity at work here than usual for a modern farmhouse. Reclaimed timber exterior accents are absent, but the staircase design speaks volumes: a twist on the modern extended balusters results in a picket fence-like effect. Hmmm.
Outside: a pool, a putting green, a half-court and an L-shaped slice of lawn.
