Ryan Gosling and Eva Mendes shucked their longtime Los Feliz Spanish-style last month, apparently bringing to an end the Los Angeles chapter of their life. The house sold for $4.913 million. According to Dirt, the couple parted with the 3,898 sq. ft. home quietly, avoiding the open market.

As for the house that is now in the couple’s collective rearview, it’s a four-bedroom, three-bath period piece that was completed in 1926. It sits on a .3-acre lot, which provides the space for the style’s leisurely lifestyle to unfold, beginning with a gated courtyard entry, and extending to a secluded backyard with a koi pond, a greenhouse, and a pool overlooking the city.

Mendes had purchased the home in 2008 for $3.2 million.

Gosling’s upcoming projects include The Gray Man, with Chris Evans, Ana de Armas, Regé-Jean Page, and Billy Bob Thornton. With a budget of $200 million, it is said to be Netflix’s most expensive film to date.
