Actress Keke Palmer is the new owner of a Los Angeles-area house; Palmer paid $1.4 million for the three-bedroom, three-bath residence, which is perched on a hilltop in Studio City, and features sweeping city views from many of its rooms.

The 1987-built house spans 2,600 sq. ft. Outside, it presents a relaxed Mediterranean atmosphere to the world, which is enhanced by a meditative shade of green paint; the interiors are more overtly contemporary, with some ornament adding a bit of visual spice to the living style. The chiseled living room fireplace is a good example; its decorative frieze flanks fire with a pair of solomonic columns, while a floral motif wanders parallel to the mantel.

The home’s outdoor living spaces get top billing, though. Decks and balconies are arranged as an eccentric but purposeful series of opportunities, with access from many of the residence’s primary shared and private living spaces.

Palmer’s upcoming projects include Jordan Peele’s upcoming horror flick Nope. She also stars in thriller film Alice, with Common.
