Actress Patricia Heaton is the new owner of a contemporary Cape in Toluca Lake. The Everybody Loves Raymond cast member plunked down $4.95 million for the 7.325 sq. ft. property.

The house went up in 2018. It sits on a lot that measures in at around a third of an acre, and contains six bedrooms and 6.5 baths across its 6,418 sq. ft. of interiors; a one-and-one guest house on the property is the supporting player, and is nestled amid the backyard recreation area: pool, spa, lounge, fire pit and BBQ station.

The shared living spaces of this house flow outward from a combination kitchen and family room; the space is bordered by pocketing glass that opens to the patio. The kitchen’s layout is a touch unusual, in that it breaks into a galley section behind the two-island main section, a narrow space of additional counter space and cabinets.

Additional amenities in and around this home include an upper-level master with a fireplace and a vaulted ceiling, a theater, and the outdoor living area, which features a pool, a BBQ bar, and plentiful dining and lounging space.
