Audi TT RS Bows Out of U.S. Market With Heritage Edition

The U.S. version of the TT RS may be departing soon, but Audi has designed a swan song to send the model on its way. Audi calls it the Heritage Edition of the performance model. It will be the last variant of the TT RS to be delivered to American dealerships, accompanying the regular-production TT RS Coupe for its final year of production.

Fifty examples of the 2022 TT RS Heritage Edition will be produced. As you might surmise, the Heritage Edition is largely a cosmetic treatment, and the 2.5L five-cylinder remains tuned to produce 394 horsepower and 354 pound-feet of torque, and paired with a 7-speed dual-clutch gearbox. But that’s not the whole story. Audi did bump up the electronically limited top speed on the model for its final production run; the last TT RS variation will be able to hit 174 MPH.

But to the visuals. Five exterior colors will finish the fifty planned for production, with ten examples of each color. ‘Heritage Edition’ badging will extend to the passenger side glass, and the cars will roll on 20-inch Audi Sport wheels. Inside, the last TT RS will be decked out with new color and material selections, as well as a steering wheel sheathed in Alcantara.

How much will all this sporty bling cost? Audi has set the base sticker at $81,495 without destination.
