In the spring of 2020, star Netflix producer Kenya Barris plunked down $4.6 million for a Cape-inspired contemporary in Studio City. About a year later, Barris closed on another house in Valley Village, one which had been rented by Justin Bieber and Hailey Baldwin; on that occasion, he paid $7.3 million.

It took almost six months for the first home to pop back up on the open market, but this month it made its appearance. The 1936-built house is currently asking $7.445 million. The property’s amenities include a guest room, a great room, a large butler’s pantry, a master suite with a fireplace and a bath with spa tub, a sports court, and a pool area with fire pits and spa.

The interior living style appears largely unchanged from 2020, so renovations conducted during Barris’ short tenure of ownership were light at best. That’s just fine; the house was nearly rebuilt from stem to stern in the year or so before he purchased it.

Barris’ upcoming projects include Netflix adult animated music television series Entergalactic, with Kid Cudi.
