Gene Simmons’ Las Vegas Home Gets $1.5M Haircut; Ask Stands at $13.5M

The Las Vegas home of rocker Gene Simmons got a price slice for Thanksgiving. The suburban property is now asking $13.5 million, down from its initial asking price of $14.95 million. Simmons bought the home earlier this year but changed his mind about being a Nevada resident due to the notably torrid summer. He has since returned to Beverly Hills with a $10.5 million home purchase.

As a whole, the outgoing property makes an impression through its layout; the house occupies one half of the lot, and a small grove of trees occupies the other. The ecologically relevant design gives the residence its own carbon sink, reducing its individual impact.

The house doesn’t pale by comparison with this circumspect property design element, though. The modern-style home contains six bedrooms and seven baths in its 10,871 sq. ft. of interior living space. The entrance is a meditative alcove, with a koi pond and desert flora for enhancement.

The shared living spaces of this house culminate in a bright, open great room illuminated by two stories of glass. Materials at work in this home include stone tile floors, hardwood accents, and architectural concrete. Amenities include an 11-car garage.

KISS’s final concert tour, The End of the Road World Tour, is scheduled to resume in March of next year.
