Reality television personality and Bachelor star Colton Underwood will soon be the first ex-owner of a Denver-area suburban ranch-style home. Underwood accepted an offer of around $1.35 million to put the 2020-built, four-bedroom house into his back pages. The property is listed in pending status.
By virtue of the home’s basement entertainment space, the house’s size belies a streetside impression; the interiors span 5,198 sq. ft. The downstairs space features a full-sized wet bar, but the home’s amenities list is longer than that. A gym with a sauna, a great room, a wine storage display and a high-end kitchen with a pantry are also on the list.
The living style of this house is informed by its almost metallic veneer, a chilly series of gray tones and tough surfaces—notably architectural concrete—that almost overwhelms the warming effect of the natural-toned semi-gloss hardwood plank floors and the smattering of rusticity. It makes for an interesting contrast with the home’s exterior, where slate, a firepit with a bench seat, and some soothing green paint bring a meditative quality to the whole.
