Social media personality and boxer Logan Paul listed his super-rustic seven-bedroom house in Encino up for sale this fall. The YouTube success story is asking $8.995 million for the sprawling two-level home, which spans 8,689 sq. ft. and sits on a lot measuring .86 acres.

The gated property is located within Rancho Estates. The house is a mid-1970s contemporary. A postmodern curiosity, the house blends modern, farmhouse, and lodge design elements. Timber-clad and featuring concrete and river stone accents, its architecture is remarkably eccentric, with semi-vaults, skylights, and a wealth of gables, including a rather complex section of the roofline where a compound effect seems to be in play. A wing-like glass extension covers the entryway.

The interiors carry the same feel of accumulated styles. The home’s layout features a step-down parlor, which features a ceiling break from single-floor to vaulted, one can spot architectural concrete, exposed beams and timbers, an industrial-inspired steel staircase, and a modern fireplace accent wall. In the billiards room, also a step-down, a wall finished in herringbone-pattern hardwood provides a backdrop for a concept wet bar, while the ceiling features exposed trussing and a graceful arched rafter. White-painted masonry and plank hardwood floors are also featured here.

The kitchen — which boasts a waterfall island, and transitions to a dayroom in a rotunda bay that’s finished with a fireplace — the grotto-ish wine room, the step-down dining room and the outdoor living area and detached studio are also worth a look. All in all, a very interesting and singular property designed by and for creative spirits.
