Back in the holiday season of 2018, Lakers co-owner Jesse Buss listed a 4,118 sq. ft. Los Angeles-area Cape Cod-inspired traditional for $4.6 million, trading up to a 6,500 sq. ft. modern in Brentwood for $9.75 million. Three years later — nearly to the month — finds the Brentwood mansion new to the open market. Buss is looking for $10.95 million to hand over the property to a new owner.
The 2018-built house has all the earmarks of a high-dollar recent build: open, uncluttered shared living space, several sets of Fleetwood doors, plank hardwood in a natural finish. This one’s common area also boasts a glass-enclosed single-stringer staircase and a masonry accent wall with a linear fireplace, and a built-in L-shaped bench seat for breakfasting off the kitchen.
Of the home’s six bedrooms, five are en-suite; the master is an owner’s space with a large walk-in and a bathroom with a steam shower and freestanding soaking tub. A gym, theater, wine cellar and lounge with an illuminated onyx bar are some of the more specialized rooms in this home. The back recreation area conforms to the hillside lot with a tiered design: patio upper, and pool lower.
