The palatial, amenities-heavy mansion of In-N-Out restaurant chain heiress Lynsi Snyder is back on the open market this fall. The property first appeared for sale under Snyder’s ownership in late 2017, asking $19.8 million. A relist of earlier this year brought the price down to $16.8 million, and that’s where it will remain for the time being.
The house was built in 2010. Its exterior flows out into wings from a soaring porte-cochere, and it features Mediterranean design elements. The interiors begin with a double-staircase foyer with a 40- or 50-foot dome ceiling and glossy marble floors. Par for the course for a home that contains a full fitness center, large theater, and billiards and game room with a full-sized bar.
The home’s shared living spaces are a series of atmospheric exercises in formality; even the kitchen has a high-dollar theatricality about it, with double islands, floor-to-ceiling hardwood cabinetry, and a rustic stove area and backsplash. A formal dining room with crown molding and twin chandeliers, a living room with a carved stone fireplace, and a great room with a double-height ceiling, French doors and a clerestory fill out the common area.
Among the four-acre estate’s more singular amenities is the sprawling outdoor living area and patio complex, which features a large cabana, a loggia, a massive zero-edge pool, and a fire pit. The 18,687 sq. ft. main house is augmented with a three-bedroom, two-bath guest house, bringing the total accommodations on the property to 11 bedrooms and 13 baths.
Snyder’s net worth is north of $4 billion, according to Forbes.
