The newest bike from Swedish company Husqvarna, the Norden 901, takes the company into an off-road detour. It’s an adventure-ready bike with components sourced from Austrian motorcycle and sports car builder KTM, including the engine: a 105-horsepower KTM LC8c parallel twin.
Other notable companies contribute to the Norden 901. The model’s dual-end suspension is an adjustable WP Apex, the brakes come from Spanish Brembo affiliate Juan, and the cornering ABS — which features an off-road mode, naturally — comes from Bosch.
Other ride modes on board the Norden 901 include Street and Rain, with traction control and acceleration compensating for the selection. For more serious off-road adventures, an optional software update adds nine-level traction control. The Norden 901 comes with 21-inch front and 18-inch rear wheels.
The Husqvarna Norden 901 will be in dealerships this autumn with a starting price of $13,999.
