Actress Tricia Helfer put her home of four years up for sale on the open market recently with an asking price of $2.65 million. The 3,677 sq. ft. modern wasn’t destined for a long marketing run, however; it found a buyer in just over a week and closed about a month later at $50K over ask.

The house was completed in 1959. From the street it doesn’t give much away, with a series of rectangular window shapes cut into the flat plane of its façade. Inside, it is as open and uncluttered as any modern worth its salt, with new-ish wide-plank floors and sliding glass opening to combine indoor and outdoor living spaces.

The kitchen’s marble subway tile and barn door of reclaimed timber are two of the nicer design touches of this home’s shared spaces. The five bedrooms and five baths include a very warm master suite with a furo-style tub that’s given its own spa-like alcove; it opens to a second-floor deck overlooking the outdoor living area, which features a pool and an outdoor kitchen and covered bar.
