The golf retreat of The Real Housewives of Beverly Hills star Erika Jayne found a buyer recently who was willing to go the full distance at the closing. The property hit the open market just weeks ago at $1.25 million, and it sold for its full ask in a snap.
The little La Quinta escape is designed with the vaguely Mediterranean style of its neighboring brethren, and like its neighbors it opens broadly in back to a living area that overlooks a fairway; a freeform pool with a spa completes the desert scene. It was completed in 2005, and measures in at 3,708 sq. ft. with three bedrooms and four baths. There is a detached one-bedroom guest house on the property.
The home’s interiors are finished in warm neutral tones, with mid-toned hardwood cabinetry and stone tile floors in the shared spaces, and carpeting in the bedrooms. The layout places a small courtyard in the center of the house; it is floored in stone pavers and rimmed with landscaping, and has a turret positioned adjacent to heighten the effect.
Jayne’s wonderful 1928-built home in Pasadena remains on the market. The property was initially listed by the television personality in the spring of this year, asking $13 million. It is currently for sale for $8.9 million, and worth a look.
