Comedian Keegan-Michael Key sold his Manhattan residence recently for $5 million. The changing-of-hands happened relatively quickly; the Tribeca property hit the market just three weeks before being pulled.

The 1,624 sq. ft. condo unit contains two bedrooms and three baths. Its design is loft-inspired to some degree, with a wide-open shared living area and 11-foot ceilings. The kitchen features custom cabinetry that’s almost taciturn in appearance and an oval island. Matte-finished plank hardwood, a little concrete, metallic and glossy surfaces, and steel-framed floor-to-ceiling windows also contribute to the rather uncompromising living style.

The building was designed by Herzog & de Meuron, a firm that was awarded the Pritzker Prize in 2001. The building’s amenities list includes a 75-foot pool with a sundeck, a fitness center, a library, and a screening room.

If his filming schedule is any indication, Key is keeping busy. His upcoming projects include Hotel Transylvania: Transformania, Andy Samberg, Selena Gomez, Kathryn Hahn, Jim Gaffigan, Steve Buscemi, David Spade, and Fran Drescher; an untitled Mario film, with Chris Pratt, Anya Taylor-Joy, Charlie Day, Jack Black, Seth Rogen, Fred Armisen, and Sebastian Maniscalco; Wonka, with Timothée Chalamet, Rowan Atkinson, Olivia Colman, and Jim Carter; The Bubble, with Karen Gillan, Fred Armisen, Maria Bakalova, David Duchovny, Leslie Mann, and Pedro Pascal; Pinocchio, with Tom Hanks and Joseph Gordon-Levitt; and Wendell and Wild, with Jordan Peele.
