Mötley Crüe’s Nikki Sixx Completes Sale of California Home for $5.2M

Rocker Nikki Sixx sold his Southern California home recently, passing the property on to a new resident after about five years of ownership. The heavy metal bass player listed the Westlake Village property with a $5.7 million ask in October of last year, but it was an offer of $5.2 million that ultimately did the trick.

The lavish home dates to the middle of the 1990s, and sports Mediterranean-inspired architecture that dresses up the amenities-heavy living style. Loggias, water features and occasionally boisterous landscaping add to the intensely warm living style.

As aforementioned, the amenities list is a big one. Inside the home, the litany includes a music studio, naturally, and also a billiards room, a grand home theater, and a master suite with a spa. Outside, a languorous recreation area surrounding a pool with water jets takes center stage; it is supported with plentiful space for entertaining.

Mötley Crüe has sold over 100 million records worldwide. Their 1987 studio effort, Girls, Girls, Girls, peaked at number two on the Billboard 200 chart, and was followed up by 1989’s Dr. Feelgood, which reached the top position. The band hitting the road with Def Leppard in a few months for The Stadium Tour. The nationwide tour kicks off in June of next year.
