One in.

In the final weeks of summer, musician Joe Jonas and actress Sophie Turner took a house hunting excursion to the Southeast and secured long-term lodgings in Miami. The duo paid $11 million for a woody modern-inspired affair with a cavernous great room and a bit of artful indoor landscaping; the residence’s living style takes inspiration from the Pacific Islands.

One out.

Just having vacated the couple’s outbox is this fairly recent spec build in Encino, which the duo purchased in 2019 for $14 million at around the same time Joe’s brother Nick picked up a similar home in the same area for $20 million. The estate includes 15,000 sq. ft. of interior living space and an acre of grounds. The main house is more or less a modern farmhouse; its façade is distinguished by a trio of industrial-inflected gabled sections and an attached garage entirely clad in wood plank.

The entryway is a towering expanse of glass that sets the living style as open and airy from the start. The interiors are expressed in wood and natural stone—mainly marble—and feature a mix of refined and rustic features, including a fireplace flanked by wood storage, abundant retractable glass, and a floor-to-ceiling bank of built-in bookshelves with a rail ladder.

The main home’s eight bedrooms are joined by the two of a detached guest house. The remainder of the estate is filled out with a pool, an outdoor dining and lounging area, decks, and lawns.

The Jonas Brothers are on tour; the Remember This Tour takes them around the U.S. and includes major stops such as Boston, New York, and Hollywood. On the film side, Joe Jonas stars in upcoming action war drama Devotion.

Turner stars in HBO Max’s upcoming series The Staircase, with Colin Firth, Juliette Binoche, Parker Posey, and Patrick Schwarzenegger.
