Television personality Erika Jayne dropped the price on her 10,277 sq. ft. house in Pasadena recently. The four-bedroom, seven-bath property is currently listed at $8.9 million.

Jayne listed the two acre estate initially in the spring of this year. At the time, she was looking for $13 million. The first price snip occurred about three months later, when the ask was reduced to $10 million.

The house dates to 1928, and it packed with details—and more than one surprise. Highlights include the little prayer room, which features a groin-vaulted ceiling and fresco-painted walls, and the panoramic silk wall covering in the dining room.

Coffered ceilings, inlaid floors, hardwood paneling (mahogany, and perhaps some walnut), stone fireplaces, and built-ins with carved ornament also strike the eye on a tour of this house. The tree-bordered grounds culminate in a backyard living area with a pool and a rill.
