It’s been a long haul, but rapper French Montana found a buyer for his 8,600 sq. ft. postmodern villa in Hidden Hills. That’s a fine way to close out the summer, and one can be fairly certain Montana would agree: he initially listed the property back in the opening weeks of 2020.
Montana originally set his sights on a $6.6 million closing, but in the end accepted an offer of $5 million for the heavily renovated six-bedroom house. He purchased it from fellow musician Selena Gomez in 2017 for $3.3 million.
Montana put his own neo-Gothic spin on the Tuscany-inspired home’s living style after purchasing it, adding substantial drama to the pastel airiness apparently preferred by Gomez. The amenities list for the property includes a recording studio, a gym, a wine cellar, a full-sized bar, and 3.14 acres of grounds with an outdoor kitchen, a pool and spa, and a cabana featured.
Montana’s most recent studio release is his 2019 eponymous album Montana. On the film side, his projects include the upcoming sports comedy-drama All-Star Weekend, with Jamie Foxx, Jeremy Piven, Eva Longoria, Robert Downey Jr., Ken Jeong, Gerard Butler, and Benicio del Toro.
