Russian billionaire Sergey Grishin put his pied-a-terre in Los Angeles up for sale this summer. Grishin is asking $21 million for the penthouse property, which was designed by Roberto Cavalli.
The property occupies 5,254 sq. ft. of the top of the Century Building. The listing information indicates that the furnishings—from Cavalli and Ferre—are part and parcel of the current terms of sale.
The unit’s lobby features onyx and African mahogany parquet; it transitions into the residence’s great room, which features a large gas fireplace in a Spanish marble accent wall, niche shelving, and floor-to-ceiling glass overlooking the wraparound balcony and the panorama of Los Angeles.
The kitchen features a waterfall island in marble; a sliding glass door opens onto a breakfast terrace. The counter tops are finished in the same marble, while the backsplashes are in a contrasting shade.
The residence’s accommodations are designed as a two-room lifestyle complex. It includes a pair of large bedrooms with city views and private terrace access; each receives extensive walk-in closet space with display storage. The en-suite baths connect to a sauna, and an office is also included in the accommodations layout.
The Century Building’s common amenities include garden design by Pamela Burton, a fitness studio, a movie theater, a pool and Jacuzzi with cabanas, and gated security and concierge services.
Grishin completed a notable transaction in California last year when he sold his Montecito estate to Prince Harry and Meghan Markle for $14.7 million.
