The 2022 Lincoln Navigator shapes up with conditional hands-free driving capability and Lincoln Enhance, an update system that makes necessary software changes remotely, and it can be ordered with both Central Park and Invitation packages, part of Lincoln’s Black Label program.
Hands-free driving on the 2022 Navigator is the realm of Lincoln’s new ActiveGlide driver assistance suite. The ActiveGlide system works by using existing driver assistance tech, highway data and information collected by a camera pointed at the driver to take over automatically as necessary. It is currently available on 130,000 miles of North American highways.
Lincoln Enhance is an over-the-air software update system. Owners of 2022 Navigators will enjoy automated maintenance and new features installation through Enhance; Lincoln’s idea is that model improvements will be automatically conducted over the course of ownership.
The Navigator’s new Black Label trim packages, Central Park and Invitation, bring customized themes to the 2022 model year. Black Label Central Park includes walnut trim etched with Manhattan vistas in its dashboard. The Black Label Invitation package uses Khaya wood given an etched design that is intended to represent intimate cosmopolitanism.
