Chanel’s new watch adds an upper tier to the company’s Monsieur collection. It’s designed to appear to the gentleman that has an affinity for classic and exotic cars. Chanel calls it the Monsieur Superleggera Edition.

Recalling the instrument panel of a sports car, the watch’s face features a minute indicator in the form of a speedometer, while a stick shift is suggested by the hour. The watch’s case measures in at 42mm, and is made from steel and ceramic finished in matte black.

Powering the Monsieur Superleggera is Chanel’s Caliber 1. Its power reserve is 72 hours, and it can be seen through the semi-skeletonized design. The watch comes with band choices that include classic glossy black calfskin and sporty nylon.

Look for the Chanel Monsieur Superleggera Edition watch toward the end of summer.
