The last time we covered Germany-based Porsche tuning specialist TechArt, the shop was showing off its newest package, taking the the wraps off an upgrade kit for the 911 Turbo and 911 Turbo S that transformed the 992-series cars into models they call the GTstreet.
A couple of years have elapsed since TechArt introduced the revision of the 992-series, making its newest model foundation, the Taycan, a striking transition from then to now. The Taycan is the Porsche of this decade. The 911 Turbo and Turbo S are contemporary versions of a classic model that reaches back to the roots of the company’s design style.
TechArt’s approach to the all-electric sedan is a package of 22-inch wheels, carbon-fiber aero components, complimented by TechArt’s characteristically, overtly ‘sporty’ interior that’s Alcantara-heavy and enhanced by a striking color scheme, in the case of the photo shoot example, electric green accents on black. The carbon-fiber parts include attachments for the splitter and spoiler, as well as side skirts and various trim pieces, among others.
