Cleveland native and musical adventurer Kid Cudi made a substantial investment in Southern California real estate this summer. The two-time Grammy Award-winner paid $7.7 million for the six-bedroom property in Calabasas, closing on the six-bedroom home around the middle of last month.

The house presents a symmetrical façade as a first impression, with a V-shape by way of a pair of garage wings jutting out from the main section. Interiors begin with a soaring rounded foyer with a double staircase, and progress to include a kitchen with a double waterfall-island layout and marble tops, a family room and lounge with a wet bar, and an office with French doors opening onto the outdoor living area.

Amenities in the house include a screening room, a gym, and an extravagant master with a spa bath. Outside, a pool, a cabana with a circular wet bar, and a loggia-capped patio put the finishing touches on the living style.

Kid Kudi has released seven studio albums, with five of them charting in the top five of the Billboard 200. His upcoming studio release, titled Entergalactic, is expected next year.
