Kenneth Lowe, the founder of HGTV, spent a bit of time in the Big Apple this summer house-hunting. In the end, Lowe settled on a three-bedroom high-rise condo on the West Side. According to The Real Deal, he paid $12.8 million for the keys.
The flat is situated on a middle floor of One57, and spans 3,200 sq. ft. The building’s interiors were designed by Thomas Juul Hansen. The unit’s kitchen, designed by Hansen and built by Smallbone of Devizes, is highlighted by custom cabinetry. Its bedrooms are all en-suite, with baths decked out in green onyx and marble. The master bedroom is of course given a corner location for prime city views.
One57’s long list of amenities includes a private screening and performance room, an indoor pool, a catering kitchen, and a fitness center.
