NFL team owner Gideon Yu put his home in the upscale bedroom community of Atherton up for sale on the open market this year. According to Dirt, the San Francisco 49ers co-owner is asking $27 million for the traditional-style estate, which is anchored by a 12,078 sq. ft. farmhouse-style dating to 2016.
The comfortingly homey exterior of this three-level residence is reflected in the interiors, where white oak and Craftsman design elements are enriched by a contemporary-style living room fireplace accent wall and shaker cabinetry in the kitchen.
The list of amenities is extensive, and includes a spa and exercise studio with a sauna, a home theater, a wine cellar, a recreation center with a sports bar, and a golf simulator. Outside, a putting green and sports court are joined by a pool and spa and a heated pavilion with a fireplace and outdoor kitchen on the 1.05 acres of grounds.
The property is joined on the market this summer by another 49ers-associated house in Atherton: the residence of ex-coach Jim Harbaugh. The 1.3-acre estate reached the for sale listings in the Silicon Valley enclave toward the end of July, and is anchored by a 2007-built, 8,527 square-footer inspired by French country house and Storybook architecture. It is priced at $12.988 million.
Yu formerly served as the CFO of Facebook and YouTube.
