Ferrari’s commemorative SF90 Stradale appeared back in 2019. The nearly 1,000-horsepower model was designed as a street car homage to Ferrari’s Scuderia racing division, which saw its 90th anniversary three years ago.
The AWD model was as forward-looking as it was preoccupied with Ferrari track history, though; it features a hybrid drivetrain comprised of a 4L V8 biturbo and a trio of electric motors. The ICE delivers up to 770 horsepower on its lonesome, but the electric assistance brings the total horsepower rating to 986.
A quick car and a fast one too, and this summer a track performance emphasized the latter as a driver took an Assetto Fiorano package-equipped example of the model on a 2.439-mile course at Indianapolis in 1 minute 29.625 seconds—a production car record. It managed to hit a maximum speed of 174.6 MPH along the way.
In related news, Car and Driver’s independent test managed to launch the SF90 Stradale to 60 mph in 2 seconds flat.
The SF90 Stradale starts at $513,850.
