Actress and former Revlon spokeswoman Shelley Hack got a nice surprise this summer. The Charlie’s Angels cast member had listed her home in Santa Monica in early June of this year with an $8.849 million asking price. A month later and the property closed at $11.4 million.
A remarkable turn of events, even considering the healthy real estate market at present. But the 1922-built Craftsman is a gem, and it sits on a very private .53-acre lot in the North of Montana neighborhood. The façade is incredibly inviting, with bay windows and a gabled portico entry sheltering a small front porch. The back of the home features a full-width porch overlooking a green plain that is only disrupted by a swimming pool.
The home’s interiors show off original details, including oak plank floors and a tile fireplace in the living room. The blue ribbon space is the sunroom, which features a large roof light overhead that makes it nearly an atrium, and a tile floor. Soft cool tones pop up amid the blazing white, culminating in the master suite, where a blue bedroom and soft green bathroom tile converge.
