Within weeks of selling one Coconut Grove residence in Miami for $10 million, billionaire developer Jorge Perez is listing another. The first property to go was a penthouse unit in the Park Grove building, which his company the Related Group built in collaboration with Terra Group; Perez purchased the pad in February of this year for $7.4 million, and flipped it in June for a better than 33% gross profit.

The property in question is a single-family home on .92 acres. An 8,332 sq. ft. villa with six bedrooms and seven baths throughout two floors, the house boasts an ivy-clad stucco exterior, a tile roof, and a courtyard entry with a water feature.

Inside the home, warm tones are used exclusively, with rooms in soft yellow, fairly intense terra-cotta, and white. Highlights of the shared spaces include the wood-sheathed library, which features floor-to-ceiling built-in bookshelves, a coffered ceiling, and herringbone-pattern floors.

The grounds feature a romantic landscaping design, with a meandering tile footpath traversing the lawns, gardens and various living, lounging, spa and recreation spots. An infinity-edge pool overlooks the ocean — its proximity allows the illusion of seamless integration with the big briny — while a loggia dining area presents shady al fresco potential. The property’s crescent-shaped frontage features views of Key Biscayne, and terminates with a dock.

Perez’s net worth is north of $1 billion, according to Forbes.
