Actress Anne Heche sold her home in the Silver Lake neighborhood of Los Angeles this summer. The 1926-built Tudor closed at $2.03 million after about a month on the market, according to Dirt; it had been listed at $1.999 million prior to the sale.
The 2,068 sq. ft. stucco residence’s façade is designed with a single gable with a graceful sweeping gesture that extends over the recessed single-door front entry; the result is a modest, storybook feel that charms readily.
Renovations have spurred the interiors into the 21st century, albeit subtly. Revisions are tasteful and avoid vacuous high-dollar flash; light fixtures, wall covering, cool tones and herringbone hardwood are among the newer touches that strike the eye in the four-bedroom home.
The property blossoms beautifully in back, with patios, decks and a greenhouse studio amid unpretentious, lush landscaping.
