German tuning company and Porsche specialist TechArt’s newest project uses the 992-series 911 Turbo and 911 Turbo S as foundations. The shop calls the finished sports the GTstreet R, the latest in the GTstreet series.

The performance and cosmetic suite includes a body components kit that gives the models a much more technical look. The package includes a new hood, rear wing, splitter, pronounced side flaps, air intake cover, and back bumper. Options include suspension lowering.

TechArt tweaked the 3.8L biturbo six enough to get 789 horsepower and 701 pound-feet of torque, enough power to give the GTstreet R a top speed of 217 MPH. A new stainless steel exhaust helps boost the airflow, but otherwise the improvement comes from TechArt-installed turbochargers and software adjustments.

For owners who desire a slightly less acute treatment, TechArt offers a software-only power boost with the GTstreet R kit.
