The 11.92- acre Scottsdale, Arizona, estate of action movie maven Steven Seagal sold this summer after a year and a half on the market.
Seagal put the home up for sale in September of 2019, hoping for $3.8 million; a relist in April of this year brought the price down to $3.395 million. That was below purchase for Seagal, but a healthy real estate market brought the home’s closing price in at $3.55 million. That’s still close to the knuckle in relation to Seagal’s 2010 purchase price of $3.5 million, but better than expected.
The desert modern was built in 2001, and uses stone, copper, and glass for expression. Other details include the skylights illuminating the stairwell, the fireplace accent walls in the living room and master, and the main terrace, which is accessible through automated doors and begins a series of linked outdoor living spaces landscaped with succulents. Amenities include bulletproof windows, a home theater, and a spa and zero-edge pool.
