Country pop limelight dweller Kelly Clarkson recently sold her extravagant estate outside Nashville for $6.3 million. Clarkson didn’t wait long before adding a new home to her portfolio; she closed on a Toluca Lake spread for $5.445 million.
The performer’s newest acquisition is a Colonial farmhouse that dates to 1936. Renovations have brought the home’s interiors up to date. Upon entry, a sea urchin pendant fixture provides the first impression.
Original details likely include the oak plank that pops up here and there. The home’s fireplaces represent a pleasing mix, with the family room’s marble surround and yellow mantel and background getting high marks. Highlights of this home include the master bath, which features a classic mix of black and white tones finished with emerald green marble, and the glassy rotunda, an indoor/outdoor dining spot with a brick floor that follows through from the kitchen.
The 1-acre lot is filled out with a pool, a guest house with newer chevron flooring and French doors, and tennis court with a cabana, a large lawn, and a brick motor court with a water feature centerpiece.
Clarkson’s other residential real estate holdings include a flashy recent contemporary farmhouse in Encino. She purchased that property back in 2018, for about $8.5 million, and listed it initially in the spring of 2020 for $9.995 million. It is currently offered at $8.995 million.
Clarkson’s eight studio albums have all reached the top three position on the Billboard 200 chart. Her albums have made it to the No. 1 position on three occasions.
