Flip or Flop and Christina on the Coast host Christina Haack listed her traditional in Southern California back in April of this year with a $5.5 million asking price. The five-bedroom, five-bath home wasn’t destined to spend much time on the market, though; a recent offer of $5.35 million transferred ownership of the property.
The stylized home borrows from all kinds of styles, including barn, farmhouse, industrial and traditional. Skylights, plank hardwood, natural stone, and a black-and-white color scheme also pop up on a tour. The highlight is the wide-open main living area, which combines the essentials into one large space, with exposed ceiling trussing and series windows for flavor.
The five bedrooms and five baths in the house include a master suite; the bedroom receives a dramatic, half-vaulted ceiling, high clerestories and skylights, a multi-bulb light installation, and a fireplace accent wall in dark gray that emphasizes the room’s angular ceiling design. Outside: a pool with a waterside, a playing field, and various living and lounging areas.
