This Beverly Hills home was, until this spring, owned by retired NFL star and sports analyst Tony Gonzalez. It was listed initially by Gonzalez last September, when it asked $29.988 million. When it closed at the end of last month, the recorded sale price was $21.15 million. According to The L.A. Times, the buyer is investor Wayne Boich.
The large home opens in back to a semi-courtyard through ground-level glass walls, where a pool, fire lounge and, further on, a lighted tennis court are positioned. A pool house—also with retractable glass—opens to the recreation area as well, and was at the time of Gonzalez’s ownership set up as a gym and studio. Combined interiors in the contemporary Georgian and its pool house measure 13,300 sq. ft.
Amenities in the home make for a long list. A library, a wet bar with a rail ladder, and a gourmet kitchen with a La Cornue range top the list.
