Hit television series producer John Wells listed his 1927-built Mediterranean in Los Angeles this spring. The 5,306 sq. ft., four-bedroom property is asking $7.875 million.

The home’s interiors blend refinement with cottage-style casual, and the combination comes off winningly in the kitchen and four bedrooms. The former boasts cabinetry and an island painted creamy azure, offsetting the flash of the Calacatta; in the master bedroom, the plank adds more charm to an intimate space with a vaulted ceiling and French doors opening to the outdoor living area.

Limestone sills feature for window and door sills, and there’s quite a bit of marble in the bathrooms. Amenities include a two-level pool house that is currently purposed as a gym.
