The folks at Mercedes-focused German tuning shop Brabus have a soft spot in their collective heart for the G-Series, but when it comes right down to it any Merc SUV will fit the bill for a supercar foundation.
The company’s newest package tackles the AMG GLE 63 S, a model it has modified before. They worked on the coupe back in 2015, and in 2019 released the Black Ops edition. Like the shadowy presentation from 2019, the new 800 package brings the horsepower to 789 and the torque to 737 pound-feet, but it improves on the 0-60 time and top speed; the 800 GLE 63 S can hit 62 MPH in 3.4 seconds on its way to 174 before it’s all done.
The 800 package includes 24-inch rims—although smaller sizes are available—and improved suspension, along with a bevy of carbon fiber components. Inside the new Brabus GLE 63 S, new leather upholstery, wheel covering, sporty accents and sills enhance the ride. Throughout the tuned SUV, a red-accented black color scheme is used.
Brabus has an 800 GLE 63 S for sale right now for €299K.
