Prolific rapper and music producer Lil Wayne has been in the real estate news a few times in the last few years. Most notable among the houses involved until recently was a flashy modern-lined 10,632 square-footer on Star Island, a fairly recent build for which Wayne ponied up $16.8 million toward the end of 2018.
A diversion to the West Coast brings a recent addition to Wayne’s portfolio, though. This time around, the property is in Hidden Hills. It’s a 2019-built contemporary farmhouse that tickled $15.4 million from his wallet.
The property’s a fairly big one—about three acres—and there is a guest house on the perimeter that brings the total interior space on the little estate to 12,135 sq. ft. There are seven bedrooms and eight baths throughout the two residences.
Interiors are classy and understated, with fold-away glass walls, steel-framed windows, and hardwood floors and inside doors. The open-concept living area boasts a ceiling height of at least ten feet. Amenities include a fitness studio, wet bar, solarium dayroom, double-island kitchen with custom floor-to-ceiling cabinetry, and a home theater with an LED-studded night-sky ceiling.
Lil Wayne has sold over 120 million records worldwide. He has a pair of upcoming studio albums lined up: Tha Carter VI and I Am Not a Human Being III.
